In 2026 Finep opened 13 public calls totalling R$3.3 billion to fund innovation projects aligned with the Nova Indústria Brasil strategy, presented at a Goiânia event on 17 March 2026. Eligible applicants include companies of all sizes, cooperatives and research institutions; R$300 million is reserved as non-refundable grants for the North (R$50M), Northeast (R$150M) and Center-West (R$100M), and 30% of resources is earmarked for micro and small firms with revenue up to R$4.8 million.
