Delaware opens Fall 2026 EDGE Grant: $1.15M for early-stage firms, apply by Sept 11

Delaware's Division of Small Business opens its Fall 2026 EDGE Grant competition on Aug 11, 2026, with $1.15 million available split between an Entrepreneur track ($400,000) and a STEM track ($750,000); applications close Sept 11, 2026 at 4 p.m. Eligible businesses must be majority located in Delaware, in operation fewer than seven years (or not yet open), and have 15 or fewer full-time employees.

Why this matters for founders

Delaware-based early-stage founders should apply before the Sept 11 deadline (up to 10 Entrepreneur and 8 STEM finalists advance to the Nov 10 pitch) to win non-dilutive grant funding for equipment, buildout, or marketing.
