The Delhi government has approved a Start-up and Incubation Policy with an outlay of more than Rs 400 crore over five years (published 17 July 2026), aiming to support over 10,000 startups and create employment for more than four lakh young people. It initially covers 11 state universities, 13 government-aided colleges, polytechnics, ITIs and government schools, and gives attached startups milestone-based assistance for prototype, proof of concept, product development and market validation rather than a single upfront grant.
