Innovate UK opened Engineering Biology Collaborative R&D: Round 3 on 8 September 2026, offering a share of up to GBP 8.5 million for collaborative projects to develop and scale engineering biology platforms, products and services. Total eligible project costs must sit between GBP 750,000 and GBP 2.5 million over 12 to 36 months, with no more than GBP 3 million granted to any one enterprise. Applications close Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 11:00am UK time.
