Jet Zero closes A$30M with Qantas, Airbus and POSCO for sustainable aviation fuel

On September 7, 2026, Australian clean-energy startup Jet Zero completed an A$30 million financing backed by Qantas, Airbus, and new strategic investor POSCO International, taking total funding above A$80 million. The money supports Project Ulysses, a Queensland refinery designed to produce up to 113 million liters of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel a year.

Why this matters for founders

Climate and industrial founders can use this as evidence that strategic corporate investors are funding hard-tech deployment, a route worth exploring alongside pure VC.
