From 1 September 2026, Singapore's S Pass qualifying salary rose to S$3,300 a month for most sectors (up from S$3,150) and S$3,800 for financial services, both increasing progressively with age to S$4,800 and S$5,650 at age 45 and above. New applications from 1 Sept 2025 and renewals of passes expiring from 1 Sept 2026 must meet the new floor. MOM has already scheduled a further rise to S$3,600 (S$4,000 finance) for new applications from 1 Jan 2027.
Singapore S Pass minimum salary rises to S$3,300 (S$3,800 finance) from 1 Sept 2026
If you hire or renew mid-skilled foreign staff on S Passes, budget the higher salary floors now and check that expiring passes clear S$3,300 (S$3,800 for finance roles) before renewal, since underpaid renewals will be rejected.
