On 9 September 2026 the government-owned British Business Bank launched a £210m South East Investment Fund offering debt from £25,000 to £2m and equity of up to £5m. It covers Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Sussex, Surrey and Kent, with debt run by The FSE Group and equity by Maven Capital Partners; its first deal was a £250,000 loan to Basingstoke tech firm Process Vision.
