On September 3, 2026 Google rolled out Gmail Live, Docs Live and Keep Live, letting users query their inbox, draft documents (pulling from Gmail, Drive, Chat and the web) and take notes by voice. Rollout began on iOS and Android in English; Gmail Live needs AI Plus/Pro/Ultra, while Docs Live and Keep Live require AI Pro or Ultra.
Solo founders and small teams on Google Workspace can offload inbox triage and first-draft writing to voice, reclaiming time; budget for the AI Pro/Ultra tier if these become part of the daily workflow.
