India operationalizes Rs 10,000 crore Startup Fund of Funds 2.0 through SIDBI

DPIIT issued operational guidelines on April 27, 2026 for the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0, a Rs 10,000 crore (about US$1.08 billion) corpus run initially by SIDBI. The fund commits to SEBI-registered Category I and II Alternative Investment Funds, which in turn invest in DPIIT-recognised startups.

Why this matters for founders

Founders raising in India should target AIFs backed by FoF 2.0, and international founders eyeing the market can use it as a signal of deepening local capital supply.
