On 19 August 2026, MAS and MOM announced a dedicated Investment Management Track under the Overseas Networks & Expertise (ONE) Pass, requiring a fixed monthly salary of S$30,000+ (top 5% of Employment Pass holders) but newly recognising performance-linked returns as part of total compensation. The package also proposes a tax exemption on qualifying profit-related returns from fund management services from Year of Assessment 2027, plus a new MAS Hedge Fund Investment Programme that co-invests with managers setting up in Singapore.
