On June 22, 2026, Ontario announced an additional $6 million for Futurpreneur Canada, expected to help nearly 1,000 entrepreneurs aged 18-39 launch and grow businesses and support over 3,800 future jobs. Through Futurpreneur's Core Startup Program, founders can access collateral-free loans of up to $25,000 matched with up to $50,000 from BDC (up to $75,000 total) plus two years of mentorship. The investment brings Ontario's total support since 2021 to $15 million.
