Venture for Canada launches Solopreneurship program for independent founders

On 5 August 2026 national charity Venture for Canada launched Solopreneurship, a six-week hybrid program helping Canadians build a business around a single skill or service without a co-founder, team or outside investment. Participants validate an offer, run customer research, set pricing and finish with a 90-day action plan.

Why this matters for founders

Solo Canadian founders can apply to the inaugural cohort at ventureforcanada.ca to get a structured six-week path from skill to paying customers.
