On September 17, 2026 Anthropic launched a redesigned Projects in beta, replacing the folder model with a coordinator that scopes a request, delegates tasks to parallel threads sharing memory and a common file library, and assembles the result. Beta opened to select Claude Pro and Max subscribers who use Claude Code cloud sessions, expanding to more users over the following week.
