Connecticut will require wage range and benefits in job postings from Oct 1, 2026

Under Connecticut H.B. 5003, from Oct 1, 2026 employers must include the wage range and a general description of benefits in every internal and public job posting, shifting from the current request-based disclosure. "Wage range" is redefined as the range the employer sets in good faith for the role.

Why this matters for founders

Any founder hiring in Connecticut should update job-posting templates now to list a good-faith pay range plus benefits (health, retirement, paid leave) before the Oct 1 deadline.
