On Aug 31, 2026 the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking signed a 387.8M euro contract with Bull to build LUMI-AI, powered by AMD Instinct MI430X GPUs and 6th-gen EPYC CPUs at CSC in Kajaani, Finland. It gives a tenfold jump in AI capacity over the current LUMI machine and is scheduled to go live in the second half of 2027, backing the six-country LUMI AI Factory for industry and research.
