Finep's Mais Inovacao Brasil program has an open Tecnologias Digitais economic-subsidy (subvencao economica) call worth R$300 million in non-reimbursable funds for projects in AI stack development, GPU clouds, generative AI models and quantum tech (TRL 3-8). Submissions run until September 30, 2026, and it is one of thirteen calls in a R$3.3 billion national grant portfolio. Eligible applicants are Brazilian for-profit companies presenting projects with technological risk.

A Brazilian AI or deep-tech founder with an R&D-heavy roadmap should submit before the Sept 30, 2026 cutoff, since subvencao economica money never has to be repaid if technical milestones are met; pair with an ICT partner where the call requires it.
