MAS commits S$220M over 3 years to FinTech under FSTI 4.0

On 31 August 2026 the Monetary Authority of Singapore announced a S$220 million (about US$173 million) commitment over three years under the renewed Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Scheme (FSTI 4.0). It runs across six tracks including an AI Pathfinder track (market-ready AI solutions listed on PathFin.ai), an Institution Project track for frontier tech like AI and quantum, and a Manpower track backing at least 1,000 FinTech internships over three years via the new portal fintechinterns.sg.

Why this matters for founders

Singapore fintech founders can list a market-ready AI product on PathFin.ai for adoption by financial institutions, apply through the Institution Project track for frontier-tech development funding, or tap the Manpower track and internship portal to co-fund young talent. Scale-up firms should also target the new GFH Scale-up Grant tied to the MAS FinTech Awards track.
