NSF's relaunched SBIR/STTR reopens: next Phase I pitch window Nov 4

NSF's revived SBIR/STTR program (solicitation NSF 26-510) funds deep-tech startups with up to $305,000 for Phase I over 6-18 months and up to ~$1.25M for Phase II, with roughly $210M in aggregate funding. Founders must first submit and win an invited Project Pitch; the next full-proposal deadline is Nov 4, 2026.

Why this matters for founders

Non-dilutive federal R&D funding for deep-tech startups—start the mandatory Project Pitch now (companies get only two per year) so you can be invited before the Nov 4 proposal deadline.
