MBIE launched the refreshed Founder and Startup Support Programme (FSSP) on 21 July 2026, with new contracts that commenced 1 July 2026 for an initial two-year term. It appoints 14 delivery providers so that over 1,000 startups a year get up to 10 hours of free coaching via Startup Aotearoa, while roughly 150 high-growth startups receive intensive incubator and accelerator support.
