On 21 July 2026 MBIE confirmed a refreshed Founder & Startup Support Programme (FSSP) with a network of 14 providers on new contracts that began 1 July 2026 for an initial two-year term with extension options. The programme funds intensive incubator and accelerator support for about 150 high-growth startups a year plus free coaching for over 1,000 startups annually via Startup Aotearoa. Delivery partners include Creative HQ, Ministry of Awesome, Sprout Agritech, The Factory and Venture Taranaki.
