Off-peak dining app First Table raises A$10M to expand across Australian cities

First Table, the discount off-peak restaurant booking platform now live in 22 Australian cities, raised A$10 million on 11 September 2026. Backers included existing investors Altered Capital, Invest South, Mainland Angels and Snowball Effect shareholders, plus new investors K1W1 and Icehouse Ventures. The capital funds deeper expansion in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth alongside product development and marketing.

Why this matters for founders

A signal that ANZ consumer-marketplace startups can still close eight-figure rounds; founders in hospitality-tech or local-marketplace niches can cite this as fresh comparable traction and target the same active investors (Icehouse Ventures, K1W1).
