SBA opens $50M grant to support Made-in-America manufacturing and training

On May 6, 2026 the SBA announced a new $50 million grant opportunity to support Made in America manufacturing and workforce training, part of a broader push that also includes a 90% loan guarantee and waived loan fees for manufacturing NAICS codes in FY2026.

Why this matters for founders

Hardware and manufacturing founders (or accelerators/training providers serving them) should review the eligibility terms and apply, and pair the grant with the waived-fee manufacturing loan guarantee.
