SENAI opens R$190M innovation platform; Alianca Startups e PMEs grant for SMEs

On July 1, 2026, SENAI launched the 2026 cycle of its Plataforma Inovacao para a Industria with about R$190 million in R&D funding. The 'Alianca Startups e PMEs' call (R$7.7M total, R$600k-R$2M per project, alliances of 3+ startups/SMEs) opened submissions from July 30 to tackle automotive supply-chain challenges, while the 'Hands-on Produtividade' track (R$14M, 100% funded) opens August 28 with results by October 2.

Why this matters for founders

Startups building industrial or automotive-supply-chain tech can form an alliance of three or more companies and submit to the Alianca Startups e PMEs call for R$600k-R$2M in non-dilutive R&D funding, or apply to Hands-on Produtividade from August 28 for fully subsidized Industry 4.0 productivity projects.
