Singapore merges EDG, PSG & MRA into one EDGE grant, launching H2 2026

Singapore merges EDG, PSG & MRA into one EDGE grant, launching H2 2026

Budget 2026 (delivered 12 Feb 2026) consolidates the Enterprise Development Grant, Productivity Solutions Grant and Market Readiness Assistance into a single EDGE scheme launching in the second half of 2026, so firms apply by intended activity (digitalisation, market expansion, productivity) instead of picking a grant. It will be open to all Singapore businesses, including non-SMEs, and PSG is being expanded to fund AI-enabled solutions. In the interim, MRA co-funding for SMEs rose to 70% from 1 April 2026, and businesses keep applying via the Business Grants Portal until EDGE goes live.

Why this matters for founders

Founders planning digitalisation, productivity, or overseas expansion spend should time larger applications for the simpler EDGE process in H2 2026, while still tapping the enhanced 70% MRA co-funding now via the Business Grants Portal for near-term market-entry costs.
