Uttar Pradesh launched its Startup Policy 2026 in late August 2026 (portal unveiled around 28 to 29 Aug), anchored by a Rs 1,000 crore fund of funds. Founders can get a Rs 20,000 per month sustenance allowance for two years at prototype stage, prototype grants up to Rs 10 lakh, seed capital up to Rs 15 lakh, and a 50% matching grant on external capital raised (capped at Rs 5 crore, minimum Rs 2 crore raise). Deep tech startups get enhanced grants up to double, patient capital up to Rs 40 crore per startup a year, and up to Rs 2 lakh a year in cloud/data centre reimbursement.
