Blackbird announced on 25 August 2026 the final close of its sixth venture fund at A$1.05 billion, the largest venture capital fund in Australia and New Zealand. LPs include the Future Fund, Aware Super, HESTA and Hostplus plus new international backers Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Adams Street Partners and Schroders. The firm says 96% of initial cheques from its prior early-stage fund went in at pre-seed and seed stage.
