Cornelis Networks raises $205M for AI networking to rival Nvidia

Cornelis Networks raised $205 million led by IAG Capital Partners, announced Sept 14, 2026, alongside its new Active Compute Fabric and a collaboration with Qualcomm. The Intel Omni-Path spinout targets an open-standard scale-up/scale-out AI networking market it pegs at more than $55B by 2030.

Why this matters for founders

Teams running large training or inference clusters get another open-standard interconnect option; relevant when network latency is wasting GPU time.
